PRIVACY POLICY
1 WHO WE ARE AND WHAT THIS COVERS
MJP EMPOWERMENT COACHING LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("MJP," "we," "us"), provides this website and Own Your Interview coaching. This policy describes information handled through our website, inquiries, checkout, intake, scheduling and coaching delivery. Contact: trent@mjpempowermentcoaching.com.
Own Your Interview is offered at launch only to clients who are at least 18 years old and located in the United States. MJP does not knowingly collect Own Your Interview intake information from children. This policy does not automatically cover a separate TDR business, other brands, third-party websites, or future programs. Those activities must be assessed before being added. Links to outside services are subject to those services’ own privacy notices as applicable.
2 INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you provide. Name, email and other contact details you choose to share; professional background, education, résumé, job postings, professional profile links, interview details, career goals, intake answers and communications. Coaching records may include practice answers, coach notes, scorecards and preparation materials.
Payment and booking records. Stripe processes checkout payment details. MJP receives information needed to identify and manage the transaction, such as the payment amount, status, contact details and limited payment-method information. Scheduling tools process appointment details and related communications. Do not send full card numbers or security codes in intake forms or emails.
Website and device information. Website and service providers may process IP addresses, browser or device details, access logs, cookies, and basic analytics for operation, performance, and security. MJP does not intentionally activate advertising pixels, remarketing, or behavioral advertising for Own Your Interview at launch. If those technologies are introduced later, MJP will implement and describe applicable notice, consent, and preference controls before activation.
3 HOW INFORMATION IS USED
MJP uses relevant information to respond to inquiries, assess fit and timing, administer payments and appointments, prepare and deliver coaching, provide feedback, communicate about the service, maintain business records, and address security, legal, or payment disputes. Receipts, intake requests, scheduling notices, coaching follow-ups, and similar service communications do not require marketing enrollment. Purchasing a service does not automatically enroll the client in promotional communications.
Optional marketing. MJP uses a separate affirmative opt-in for newsletters, career resources, updates, and offers. Subscribers may unsubscribe through a campaign or trent@mjpempowermentcoaching.com. MJP keeps the minimum suppression record needed to prevent unintended re-enrollment. Opting out does not stop necessary service messages or require deletion of payment, tax, contract, legal, security, or dispute records.
Please provide only what is relevant. Avoid Social Security numbers, government identification, full financial account details, patient records, or confidential information about employers and other people. Use redacted examples where possible. Contact MJP if sensitive information is submitted accidentally.
4 AI ASSISTANCE AND HUMAN REVIEW
MJP currently uses ChatGPT and may use AI tools as needed to support program development and coaching delivery, including comparing a résumé with job requirements, organizing interview examples, researching public information, developing practice questions, analyzing answers, and drafting preparation materials. MJP keeps original client records in its approved intake and storage systems and limits AI inputs to information reasonably necessary for the coaching task. Direct identifiers are removed where practical. MJP reviews client-facing recommendations and retains responsibility for coaching judgment. Additional AI providers may be introduced only after review of their data practices and any required notice or consent.
MJP does not submit Social Security numbers, government identification, complete payment-card information, medical information, or unrelated confidential records to AI tools. Because general-purpose accounts may be accessible to more than one authorized MJP team member, complete identifiable client files are not used as routine AI inputs. Clients may contact MJP with questions or concerns about AI-assisted processing.
Operating safeguards include data minimization, removing direct identifiers where practical, restricting access to client files, reviewing provider controls before use, and human review of client-facing work. MJP does not promise a fully AI-free service unless confirmed in writing for a particular engagement.
5 SERVICE PROVIDERS AND OTHER DISCLOSURES
MJP relies on providers for website hosting, forms, payments, scheduling, communications, storage, and permitted AI assistance. The current launch workflow includes Squarespace, Jotform, Stripe, Cal.com, Google Drive, email services, and ChatGPT. Simply.Coach and Circle are not confirmed Own Your Interview providers at launch. Providers may process information outside the client’s state under their applicable terms. MJP will review and update applicable notices before introducing a new provider that materially changes client-information processing.
Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to address fraud or security incidents, or to establish or defend legal rights. MJP does not sell client personal information. Client information is not automatically shared with TDR Property Holdings LLC or another brand merely because of common ownership. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable notice and legal requirements.
6 RECORDING, TRANSCRIPTION AND PUBLICITY
Coaching sessions are not currently recorded. If MJP introduces recording or automated transcription, we will first explain what will be captured, why, which provider will process it, who may access it and how long it will be kept. We will obtain prior consent from all participants. A non-recorded workflow will remain available if recording is declined.
Permission to record for coaching is separate from permission to use material publicly. MJP will not use your identifiable story, testimonial, image, voice or recording for marketing or a case study without explicit permission. No recording or AI transcription should be enabled merely solely because this policy describes a possible future capability.
7 RETENTION AND SECURITY
MJP applies a category-based retention schedule. Unconverted inquiries are retained for up to 12 months after the last contact. Résumés, job postings, intake answers, coaching notes, and final client deliverables are retained for up to 12 months after service completion. MJP retains accepted Terms, the package and price purchased, service history, notices, and key communications for 6 years after service completion. Invoices, refunds, and accounting or tax records are retained for 7 years. Website or security access logs, if collected, are retained for up to 12 months. Active marketing consent is retained while the person remains subscribed; a minimal unsubscribe or suppression record is retained until the person affirmatively resubscribes. MJP does not store full payment-card numbers; Stripe handles card information.
Retention may be extended when reasonably necessary for an active dispute, legal hold, tax obligation, fraud or security investigation, or another legal requirement. Provider copies and backups may remain until the applicable provider’s deletion or backup cycle completes. MJP will securely delete or de-identify information when the applicable retention period and legitimate business need end.
MJP uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and the size of the business. Measures include limiting access to authorized users, using provider access controls, and reviewing file permissions and account security. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
8 QUESTIONS, REQUESTS AND CHANGES
Contact trent@mjpempowermentcoaching.com with questions about this policy, to correct information, to request access to or deletion of information, or to opt out of promotional email. MJP may need to verify your identity and may retain records where permitted or required for payment, tax, contract, legal, security, or dispute purposes. Available rights and response deadlines depend on applicable law; this policy does not limit rights the law provides.
Launch audience confirmed: Own Your Interview is limited to clients age 18 or older and located in the United States. Before expanding to minors or clients outside the United States, MJP will review and implement any additional privacy, consumer-protection, consent, tax, or cross-border requirements.
Updates will carry a revised effective date. Material changes to how previously collected information is used require an appropriate notice and, where required, consent; posting a new policy alone is not blanket permission to repurpose client data.
